Músicas de Montevideo; una selección de candombe fusión, jazz, y algunos elementos experimentales develan las raíces artísticas  y musicales que formaron a Lorenzo Piriz Pereira, selector y DJ de la cuidad de Montevideo, Uruguay. Su fusión con el mundo de la música en formato físico comienza cuando era un niño a partir de una colección heredada, la influencia de sus padres artistas y husmeando entre samples de Hip Hop.

Compuesto por recuerdos de su infancia en el Barrio Sur y experiencias del presente, este episodio es un homenaje de parte de Lorenzo a todos los tocadores y musicxs que lo inspiran y enseñan sobre la música, el candombe y el diggin.

This is a 7 part recording of my birthday party mix at Club Der Visionaere - Berlin, last summer. 
I started in the early afternoon hours and continued till late at night.
Instead of bringing my usual record bags I asked my friends to help me carry over two crates of records that may have collected some dust and a couple of scratches but had no expiration date. 
I was standing/dancing in place for hours, yet time traveling with every needle dropped.
