A Mab take of a classic 80's song.
Also first go with recording using Reaper DAW.  Still learning how to edit and FX on the songs to get the right EQ.  so, I'll call this a draft

Land Down Under on a uke

While not perfect, I needed to get this recorded to send out as a reference for a project.  Hope to have a better recording soon.  (*yeah, I keep saying that)

Uke: Oscar Schmidt Spalted Mango - Soprano (she's my favorite uke)

Recorded with Reaper using my laptop and a Blue Yeti microphone.  One mic for uke and vocals.  one take.  Working on getting the filters right.

EDIT to add:
I realize now after listening to this a few times, I always choke at the beginning of a recording anything no matter how many times I practice.  by the time I'm in the second or third verse, I've forgotten that I'm recording.  And then if I flub again, it's because I caught the computer screen out of the corner of my eye.  next time I'm going to do the song twice through and have a cover over the computer monitor.
