Mac Haze received his name from the trials and tribulations of life. Life in the smoke unsettled, he learned to live within the fire. As he rose from the ashes he was deem Mac Haze a.ka "Mac in his highness". Raised in a diverse environment, my music has derived 
from soul, hip-hop, reggae, the drums of West Africa. A product of my city but built on my character. Built for adversity from an adolescence dealing with situations unspoken and unheard. From the pains and tragedies, the joy and happiness, the ups and downs of love and friendship, the noise in silence brought a sound so vibrant.
