DeeJay RobYung composed this song two years after the passing of his birth mother, who died at the age of 52. At 32, he faced the profound loss of his mother without ever having known his biological father. RobYung was placed into foster care at just 18 months old, where he experienced a difficult upbringing in a neglectful and abusive environment. Despite these challenges, he discovered a passion for music at the age of eight. As he grew into his late teens and early twenties, he pursued a career as a DJ and developed a keen interest in audio engineering and music production. Growing up in Newburgh, NY, was not without its difficulties, but music provided RobYung with both solace and strength.

Currently, RobYung is battling Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Failure and faces the prospect of beginning dialysis. He remains hopeful for a kidney transplant while striving to support his family and his soon-to-be wife. His resilience and dedication to music continue to be his guiding forces.
