Simone Zino returns to Ratis Records with a powerful new three-track EP. As the owner of Ratis, Zino makes a statement with a diverse and high-impact collection that explores different shades of Techno while staying true to his unmistakable sound. Opening the EP is "Labyrinth", a hypnotic and groovy journey marked by rolling rhythms, intricate percussions, and a deep, trippy atmosphere that pulls the listener into its maze-like structure. Next is "90s", a full-bodied, groove-driven track that channels the raw energy and attitude of classic 90s Techno while updating it with Zinos modern production edge. Its a floor-filler with character and punch. Closing the release is "Apocalisse", a melodic and emotionally charged piece that builds tension through dramatic synth work and cinematic sound design, offering a more introspective take on the Techno spectrum. Simone Zinos return to his own imprint is both a nod to his roots and a fresh step forward, showcasing his versatility and refined approach to contemporary Techno.

Turkey’s Procombo debuts on CLR with the ‘Upscale’ EP

Istanbul’s Procombo arrives on Chris Liebing’s CLR for the first time, dropping the two-track ‘Upscale’ EP 18th July 2025. The title track sees the RX boss deploy a nimble and precise cut that, despite its heavyweight low-end punch, glides smoothly over evolving synth loops. It’s muscular, meticulous, and perfectly engineered intensity.

'Be Alive' is a rolling juggernaut of a track built for shadowy warehouses and heads-down moments. Dystopian sirens wail through the mix like warning signals amidst flickering neon ruins. There’s a constant sense of unease, a creeping tension that builds and builds brilliantly, closing out a package already supported by the likes of Peder Mannerfeldt, Emerald, and Elisa Bee.

Procombo has been a pillar of his native Istanbul scene since the mid-90s, as a DJ, producer, and label head of RX Recordings, an offshoot of the influential former RX Istanbul club he helmed. He's well known in heady Techno circles for his work on Radio Slave’s Rekids label, Planet Rhythm, and now Chris Liebing's legendary CLR.

Founded by Techno pioneer Chris Liebing in 1999 and relaunched in 2021 after a five-year break, CLR has featured heavyweights like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, and Bjarki, while championing rising talents including Risa Taniguchi and Klint.
