The Audiojack duo team up with cohort Kevin Knapp to release their heavy club weapon ‘Vibrate’ on Hot Creations. Berlin based Re.You and former Minus mainstay and Fun Records founder Barem take the reins for remix duty.

Making his first appearance on the label with this remix, Re.You’s other releases can be found on Cocoon, Mobilee and Souvenir alongside second remixer Barem, a talented producer from Argentina. Texas-bred, San Francisco-schooled and Berlin based producer Kevin Knapp is no stranger to the Hot Creations imprint, having released his successful two track ‘The Heft EP’ earlier this year. Originally from Leeds, and now based in Ibiza, Audiojack are set to celebrate a decade of music-making with exciting new releases forthcoming on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, 2020 Vision, Tsuba and their own label Gruuv.

AFFKT & Thomas Gandey - Overnight Sensation (Miguel Bastida Remix)

Madrid native Dennis Cruz makes his Solid Grooves Records debut with three rumbling cuts including a remix from fellow countryman Wade.

Since his debut in 2010, Cruz has become a staple in Beatport’s charts, not to mention the sets of artists such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Yousef and Roger Sanchez. Throughout this time the likely producer has dropped releases on Saved, Deeperfect, Stereo Productions and Kinetika, not to mention his very own imprint Lemon-Aid Music. He now arrives on PAWSA & Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Records, joining the likes of Wade, Kuo Climax and Rockwell & Landers for an exciting second year for the label.

Initiating with the sound of a roaring crowd, ‘See Line’ was produced with the dancefloor in mind using thudding kicks, arcane vocal samples and an energetic rhythm. ‘Heads or Cruz’ is a more low-slung number with a focus on a killer groove, whilst ‘Bienvenido’ engages in a medley of percussive elements geared for peaktime antics. Tying the package together, Wade remixes ‘See Line’ to give it his signature twist whilst ensuring the heady vocals reiterate throughout.

Last spotted on the label just two months ago, Bruno Furlan has made such a strong impression at Dirtybird Headquarters heÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s already back with two more premium productions. Hell, heÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s made such an impression theyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re calling him Ã¢â‚¬ËœDirtyboyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢.

This time BrunoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s brought a wingman: Kyle Watson. Last spotted on the labelÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s festive 7 Days Of Dirtybird project just over a year ago (and featured on Simma Black, This AinÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t Bristol and Bunny Tiger since), the South African artistÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s signature complements BrunoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s skills toe-to-toe as the two dance a provocative techfunk dance.

Ã¢â‚¬ËœMarshmallowsÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ was made with Dirtybird in mind. Duly road tested by VonStroke, the click-slap drums, bulbous postcode-exclusive bassline and rippling, rising chords sealed the deal on the spot. Ã¢â‚¬ËœBut Why?Ã¢â‚¬â„¢ plays the consummate track two: Fusing a snake-charming hook, a rubber ball bassline, the pendulum hook and twisted vocal percussive elements, it asks way more questions than it answers.

Remember when you were just children, trying to build something out of a pile of Lego bricks, and how there was always one annoying brick missing?
