David Russell Lee is a British DJ, producer and Remixer Icon.

One of the first albums I ever bought on Vinyl in the 90’s was the “Can’t Get High Without You Compilation” And back then I actually thought the artist was really named Joey Negro. Not knowing then that Dave created the name using a mix of Pal Joey “Reach Up To Mars and J. Walter Negro “Shoot The Pump”. He thought at that time, the name Dave Lee was too boring against the likes of junior Vazquez, David Morales and Frankie Knuckles in the House Music Scene. 

Following the George Floyd movement in 2020 Dave Lee dropped the Joey Negro Moniker for good. 

Having such a huge Discography of music to choose from it was difficult for me to discard some amazing tracks. In the end I’ve chosen 40 tracks which mean the most and have the best memories for me, so sorry to my followers and listeners if your favourite tunes didn’t make the Final Cut.

Of course I have to say a huge thank you to Dave Lee for all his hard work, producing such incredible music for all these years. I can’t wait to hear you play live again and will look forward to all your future releases.

Welcome to our 92nd Guest Mix all in the name of Music vs Mental Health, and it coming from the talented DJ Ian Perry.
Having DJ’d for nearly 30 years across many venues in London, with a huge passion for Disco, House and everything in between .. With many residencies under his belt over the years, Being resident at legendary Croydon night Funkme got him properly back in the mix in 2016 and  becoming a regular at Up on the roof at PoW for the last 5 years, playing alongside many favourite DJ’s  .. 
He co-hosted over 100 episodes of the fortnightly DeepNdisco radio show on Grant Nelson’s d3ep Radio network, and in the last year has launched a successful series of mixes on his Soundcloud page, where he takes a trip each month through his favourite disco, re edits, soulful and deep house, through to floor fillers and piano anthems …

Christian was one of the original residents at the seminal Venus club in Nottingham during the early 90s. During his hugely successful career, he's played across the UK and Europe alongside some of the biggest names in the scene including David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Masters At Work, Tony Humphries and, his original inspiration, Graeme Park.

And after hosting both myself and Greg on his own wonderful Feel Love Friday show in the last couple of weeks, it's our turn to host Christian on our lunchtime show, and let him loose on the FGF turntables. I can assure you, this is not one to be missed.
