This compilation is in celebration of our Berlin party, Cocktail d’Amore, which we started with Boris five years ago along visual direction by Pindar (GoldNSour). What began as a gay monthly focused on bringing quality music into the alternative culture of Berlin has grown to be host to a diverse range of open minded freaks,queers and more seeking a carefree atmosphere.  You may have already noticed that there's more than a strong connection between the Manchester "Red Laser" label & LYO ! Antoine aka LeonxLeon (who made a slick remix of Cerrone uploaded yesterday) released some highly acclaimed tracks for the imprint in the past and we had the RL headhoncho "Il Bosco" contribute to our mix series and appear as special secret-guest for one of our parties here in Paris. The brotherhood is here to stay as Camille aka "Alan Dente" from our infamous crew, delivers a banger on the next Red Laser EP 8 alongside Kid Machine, Starion and Tommy Walker 3. While scientists are working on finding a cure for the COVID-19 virus, we, humans, can only spread love and support each other. Orchid-AM can only spread love through music and by uniting artists and clubs that are kept apart at these difficult times. 

We have asked producers and musicians represented by the agency to come up with some new music in one week, and then name it after a club they hold close to their heart. We have packed it all in a ten-tracks compilation released digitally via @Bandcamp, in hope for a return to normality soon. 

All sales will be equally shared between artists and clubs.

PREMIERE: Bawrut - Sub Club

MacGyver 2.0 is the artist name of Sjors Broersen, Amsterdam based producer, DJ & VJ. Being part of the Mute team, and in the past Hausse & RTFKT Collective, he has a wide range of experience with throwing parties in the DIY scene. Most likely you find him at a dark basements with good sound systems, abandoned or squatted places, playing his hybrid dj-set, combining his  favourite tracks with extra layers of acid sounds and other analog-synth sounds. His styles are ranging from Disco and Melodic Electronics towards a bit more darker Acid sounds later at night. Always with a touch of the 303 and the aim to make people dance.

As a producer he works on his own tracks and a project called The 80's Acid Edits, editing 80 tracks with a extra layers of acid sounds and harder kicks making them ready for the dance floor. 

And as VJ he tries to makes a new project mapping each time around with the stuff that's around, always trying out new shapes and angles to create new visual effects.
