Echoes Of A Past Love

This is the first song with my lyrics and vocals I am putting out into the world. I'm so excited! This song is very dear to my heart. I had an emotionally unstable home growing up, and it took me a very long time to get to where I am today. A few years ago, I decided to quit my job, leave NYC, and book a one way ticket to India for my very first solo backpacking trip. It is then that I truly discovered myself, and that I started to really love myself. This song is about that journey traveling the world and realizing that everything had always been inside of me, all I had to do was tune in to it. I had to travel alone to discover what I was made of, and it's a beautiful self discovery of love.

I wrote this song when I was going through a really rough heartbreak. We had broken up for a while, but I was still grieving my ex and the relationship. I was still sad and had moments of hopelessness. It was probably one of the worst breakups I had ever experienced. Writing and singing this song was a way for me to express how I felt, and it helped me process some of my emotions.

Her voice became an extension of her piano, adding new dimensions to her music and allowing her to weave intricate narratives of heartache, hope, and transformation. 

MaCha's music is in an intertwined symphony of all her lived experiences. Every emotion she encounters finds its place in her music, an eternal imprint of her life on earth. It's about turning life's trials and triumphs into harmonious compositions that invite listeners to immerse themselves in the ebb and flow of her story - reminding us that vulnerability is a strength, and the truest art emerges from the depths of the human experience. 

Through the highs and lows, the heartaches and the hopes, MaCha's journey is a testament to the transformation power of embracing all the we are and channeling it into something meaningful.
