PREMIERE - James Rod - Astrolosis (Club Mackan)

The sidewalk was a map of memory.

As he moved through the blocks, the city pressed back. Narrow corridors of wind between towers funneled against his chest; the heat from subway grates rose up his legs; the pedestrian current forced his shoulders into constant negotiation. Every intersection was choreography—pause, pivot, slide through the gap before the light changed.

This was urban physicality. The fight for space amidst the concrete warzone which surrounded him.

Everyone was out for themselves.

Yuu Udagawa is remixed by Takuya Matsumoto on a new EP for Razor-N-Tape. A classy release pairs two singular producers and weaves a wicked tapestry for the dancefloor.

Kokölò opens a new chapter with its first ever various artists compilation, bringing together eleven artists from across the spectrum to shape a narrative that moves through the many shades and emotions that define the label’s sound.

New York’s Ardio Zemog sets the tone with warm layered percussion and Latin vocals by Christine Gonzalez. Portuguese artist TGZ follows with a groove-driven cut built on crisp percussion and subtle dub strokes. From Austria, Manuel Correa and Nizar Sarakbi nod to early 2000s tech house with a warm rolling burner.

Label co-founder Alfonsvs unveils his new alias Alfonso with a house track filled with resonant frequencies and chopped vocals. Adriana Ruas delivers her debut, channeling luminous energy and pulsating rhythms. Alfonso returns alongside Nuno Carneiro with a deep, piano-led journey.

Berlin-based Sean Dixon brings classic machine funk with a modern touch, while Berghain resident Answer Code Request explores his housier side for the first time. Dancast delivers a tight, punchy peak-time cut, and Jude Natural follows with an acid jam nodding to Chicago’s legacy. Foley closes with high-energy organ melodies destined for peak-time floors.

This release captures the emotional range of a Kokölò label night, where house, techno and raw club energy meet.

Yomi One resurfaces on Sweden's When Disco Goes Wrong, with “Snaketon Acid Trax 3,” a four-track statement of raw, machine-driven soul. Built from the warm wiring of Acid House and the crooked bounce of Electro, everything is filtered through a DIY ethos that values feeling over fidelity. The label's underground spirit is palpable here – hand-drawn art and a rebellious pulse frame a record made for darkened rooms where the air is thick, and the rhythm is a physical presence. It’s less a collection of songs and more a charged fragment of night, where 303s breathe, and drums stutter with purposeful, human imperfection.

Premieres here, “Warp Time” fractures the grid entirely, plunging into a vortex of polymetric chaos and shadowy computation. Time signatures splinter as acid lines twist through corridors of textured, temporal dissonance. Here, structure is dismantled into its raw, unstable components – a deliberate rupture in the night’s flow where percussion cracks open and melody contorts. This is the EP’s moment of exposed circuitry, a bold swerve into the experimental void that reveals the daring, rhythmic science beating at the label’s core. A final bend in the signal before the tape runs out.
