Stupid fucking masked mincers

Stupidly independent, wilfully awkward, and often drugged to the gills, The Gonzo Salvage Company recorded all their material on analogue equipment in the front room of a flat in Highfields Leicester (where they also rehearsed). Apart from a few vinyl and CD releases they pretty much gave their music away at cost or free to anyone interested, encouraging folk to copy and share. Over the years the original 8 track and 2 track tapes have deteriorated or been lost, so “Salvaged Volumes One and Two” collect what tracks can be recovered from what’s left from a variety of sources including old cassette copies. Sound quality can vary, but as the N.M.E. said, The Gonzo Salvage Company were always “resolutely Lo-Fi”.
