Here is the final version of Katret's winning entry for the inaugural COMPO beat battle/producer competition that took place on November 25th 2023. 

Participants of COMPO_1 were asked to make a song in any genre or tempo in less than 2 hours using a very small pack of samples curated by Machinedrum. We had almost 80 submissions!

Dream Continuum - Ride Away (Om Unit & Machinedrum)

"Everything On Time" is a collection of songs that were written over 10 years, now all finally being released together on vinyl/digital.

"Emo" and "KNS" / "KNS 2019" are my first collaborations with Metalheadz friends Agzilla (Iceland) and Kiat (Singapore) from over a decade ago, "Garden", with vocals by Morgan Neiman, was written in 2014 while on my first tour in Europe, and "Torpor" was written in 2016 in my first weeks of living in Western Canada.

All four tracks are unrelated in their creation but somehow all tie together to showcase a similar sound I have been producing for over a decade in various tempos and styles - all a reminder of particular times creatively and personally in my life. The wait to get these out was worth every second, and as the title states - everything is out right on time.

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I did making them.
