Noisy Chilli hosts Thatboytim on the third episode of Electro Chronicles.

For this edition I’ll open the first hour with some deep, driving Electro selections, and then hand it over to Thatboytim for the second hour packed with raw energy and deep Electro cuts.

Thatboytim has been pushing his own brand of militant funk since the turn of the century, deeply rooted in punk and alternative influences. Co-founding Takeover Recordings in 2000 before relocating to Dublin for 13 years, Tim has continued to curate the label as a platform for Irish producers of Bass, Techno, Electro, House and beyond – with standout names like DefeKt, Breakdata and Giles Armstrong.

Always looking for fresh approaches and rhythms, 2026 will see releases from Ikeaboy, Trontsephore and Jay Riordan.

As a DJ, his style is fiery and funk-driven – whether in bars and intimate parties or blasting turbo-charged electro in a club. His sets are a fusion of joyful exuberance and resistance, built on decades of digging for those perfect beats.

After 6 years in London, Tim is now based in Dingle, West Kerry, making special appearances to share his musical vision.

Based in the south of Spain, Sedjat (@sedjat) has been steadily crafting and refining a unique sound for the past eight years, blending electro, acid, IDM, techno, and breaks into a style that’s entirely her own. Her DJ sets are rooted in music exploration and dynamism, paying tribute to the past while transforming familiar sounds into something appealing and unexpected.
On this ocassion,  Sedjat guides listeners through a carefully constructed sonic narrative. Precision-driven mash-ups meet shifting textures, creating an intense journey that captures both emotional depth and powerful rhythms; an accurate reflection of the sound that defines her artistic vision. Hailing in solitude from the snowy mountains of the northern hemisphere and Electro Capital Gothenburg, Son of Stilleben Records , Dataintrång presents a clean-cut surgical manifestation in memory of the great M. Musters passing, in a one hour format of a live performance featuring a hand of carefully selected sequences, out of Das Musters enormous discography with a few other artists of the electrofunk expression. 

Dataintrång has since 2022 taken the old classic electro scene by storm with countless releases on in most of them collaborate efforts with Luke Eargoggles and his “Stilleben Records”, Helena Hauffs - “Return To Disorder”, Stefania Meneghellos - “Pareidolia Records”, and more iconic imprints in the electronic synthesis scene.

PULSAR 016 | DATAINTRÅNG - IN MEMORY OF DAS MUSTER

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. 

Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre, he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. 

After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.
