Asquith returns with another hi-NRG club destroyer. 'Let Me' EP is Asquith’s fourth release - another example of serious tekkers from the northern powerhouse. Written whilst travelling on a plane, it’s a clear homage to early UK rave and euphoric dance. Higher Power has already exercised the shutter lifting rights in the mighty Panorama Bar, while Terror Barrier is a nod to Happy Birthday era Modeselektor with that thumpin' 909 drum. Hoofin' kick drums and melodic xtc for the mind, killers breaks and rave ready artwork - Let Me will take you on a trip, heading right under the M25.

Even a historical pandemic couldn't take summer hits away from our hearts. Exceptional circumstances means extraordinary compilation. 

Worst Records' hall of fame welcomes new faces around the pool for a 13-stages enlightened drama. You'll meet again with the top 3 podium made of A Strange Wedding, Jacques Satre and Christian Coiffure, all rensponsible for our first three releases, building up a mesmerizing, out of season mental workout. Extending the dimension of trance towards Saint-Etienne, Del.Duc brings on a curious yet serene astral travel, and we can also count on the distant reinforcements from the Toulouse Gouffre Club crew with Jan Loup and her glitch spangled hazy dub from far futures and the new trance comer from Bordeaux, Lazuli.
Special friends are also gathering here, as Myako is sewing on thin fabric a vaporous dub in shades of grey, the one-and-only master touki Théo Muller delivers a cinematic remedy to confinement.
Liberation through hearing, it is, as borders explode with the presence of many : Yin Yang Audio in a transatlantic IDM/break jump, Forest on Stasys (aka Mental Resonance) and his tough shamanic dance, Clemens Friedrich slowing down all senses at once and JEANS, boss of Oracle Bones, speeding us up in the hyperloop. 
Finally, as teamwork means a lot, we have given the pleasure to open this compilation to the four-headed Lausanne/Freiberg hydra 4POTR and their cryptic transdimensional message, and the honor of closing this pool party to the 404 trio gem from Candoblé with a fine piece of wonder. 

Not exactly your usual summer compilation, nor the hits you could imagine, but surely the music you'll need under the hot sun of 2020.

If you haven’t tuned in to Mercure Rétrograde on the waves of LYL Radio, We recommend you do. The bimonthly ritual, directed and executed by Agnes Aves, paints the perfect picture of what a DJ’s deejay is supposed to do behind the decks. Her cold-blooded precision and attention to detail could be attributed to her formal education in fine arts and classical piano (theory to be verified by her). Agnes also runs NOED, short for No One Ever Dances. A mix and event series showcasing quality music by quality artists. 

What else can we say without sounding like a pathetic groupie? Passionate humans like her is the reason we do what we do so we are very excited for Agnes’ offering to the Aperitif series.
Also she has been making these impressive  terrariums from plants she picks up outside, check those out too :)

The (in)famous ice skater Wosto, after his solo EP, returns on Raw Culture, this time, bringing reinforcements with him: NOSTALGIE ÉTERNELLE (Inox Kapell and Dieter Mauson) . SAUERSTOFFF (oxygen / one F for every freak as they say) is the name of their band.
We choose the track "Kinskis", simultaneously embracing the emerging post-punk/ industrial strain with a stripped down gothdub approach and showcases a unique take on electronic-infused post-rock. The arrangements are imbued spaciousness,  trebly, splintering smudged highs, minimalist twanging surf guitar  and unusually dreamy vocal achieve it with poise and flair preserving the project’s aura.

Boris is a DJ & producer from Greece, now based in Paris. An artist truly devoted to the original underground techno sound and culture, mostly influenced by early electro, synth wave, industrial, broken rhythms, FM synths and cinematic lo-fi distorted and absurd soundscapes. After spending many years in the UK and Serbia he got involved with collecting records, making tracks, exploring sounds from various sources and field recordings, strongly bonded with a unique vision and character regarding true expression through music in a greater spectrum.
