Mackenzie Brazier is studying oboe performance at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Among other ensembles, Mackenzie has played in the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Illinois All-State Honor Band and Orchestra. In the summer of 2011, Mackenzie traveled and performed in Europe with the Illinois Ambassador's of Music. She plans to pursue a master's degree in oboe performance and eventually secure a position with an orchestra. In her free time, she enjoys running and reading.
