Eritrean-American DJ, producer, and all-around creative Eden Hagos brings visibility to future sounds you can’t quite put your genre finger on. Deeply rooted in underground hip-hop, sample-based, percussion-heavy tunes, and future bass, Eden’s ear for unique music has kept her digging since her uncle gave her first Fugees album at age 16. With over 20 mix-tapes released, the third installment, Currently, caught the attention of OkayPlayer, calling her “a prophet of future sounds.” Her mixes have connected her to local producers, artists, and labels, building bridges within the beat scene. Miss Hagos’ passion for creative culture has led to performances at underground clubs, international festivals, and celebrity and fashion events. She has opened for Snakehips, Anderson .Paak, JMSN, Syd tha Kid, Tokimonsta, Sango, and Goldlink, among others. Eden continues to shine light on beatmakers in this movement while uncovering and educating listeners about the many genres that exist within these future sounds.
