Bass Agenda 250 with PARAND

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from SR60 & TeZ. "Condition" comes off the new EP, Hel, forthcoming on Macro Terra Records. Inspired by retro-futurism and cyberpunk cinematography, Giuseppe Mascia’s new EP is a sort of soundtrack that crosses genres and visual suggestions while maintaining a coherent sonic and narrative identity. Featuring 6 tracks in total, "Condition" was born from a collaboration with Tez (Clock DVA), a dualism between melodies and noise that shatter and reassemble.

Pomposo was born in Naples. After finishing his studies, he moved to London, where he began collecting electronic music records and playing in various London clubs. He founded his first label, Primitive Beat, with various vinyl releases, and organized a series of parties under the label's name.

After five years of experience in London and a purchasing background, he returned to his hometown and continued to build his hardware studio. Together with other Italian DJs and producers, he created a new project, new label called Freshfood Music, with a slightly different approach than his past, featuring a different sound than his usual musical productions.
With Freshfood Music, he has released various vinyl releases and many digital releases.

In 2020, he embarked on a new journey, combining contemporary electronic music with electro and techno. 
Macro Terra Records is his new label, where electronic music merges with experimentation and the new frontiers of dance music, also closely connected to the visual and interactive part.

Which artists has influenced you the most?
- It's really hard to list the artists who have inspired me the most. I listen to all the electronic music from artists i don't even know, and that's something i really enjoy. 

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?
- I’m planning other new releases with Macro Terra Records, label i manage personally. We'll be doing lots of collaborations with new artists. 

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?
- As i said before, i listen to all kinds of electronic music, and it's hard to say which label and artist are the most relevant right now. I really like so many artists and labels around the world. 

What inspires you now to create music?
- Now I'm really inspired by experimenting with new sounds. Today, we have a vast array of tools available, both in terms of hardware and software, for creating music.
I really enjoy creating music, since i was 18, i've always had my own studio where i can produce music and experiment with new sounds and instruments. Today, at 47, still do the same. 

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- I use a totally free approach, with no rules. I just go into the studio and start having fun with everything I have at my disposal, especially hardware!
