I was asked to compose and produce a genre that I didn't really listen to. I choose samba and this is what I came up with, hope you like it

Moon Rescue

Plot:

A rescue squad is aboard a space ship on a journey to a remote outpost where an expeditionary team has set up a base on the moon of a planet orbiting a star very similar to our own sun. The moon has an atmosphere, with weather conditions suitable to sustain life. The expeditionary team, sent to evaluate whether colonisation of this moon would be feasible, failed to send its report at the allotted time and has not been heard from since. The rescue squad has been sent to find out what has happened, give technical and medical help as necessary, and bring back survivors, should any be found.

1)  20 seconds

The rescue squad is aboard a space ship approaching the moon base it has been sent to investigate. They are anxious because they don’t know what they will find there – is it just a communications failure, or has there been a catastrophe of some kind? Eventually they enter the shuttle craft and descend to the surface of the moon. Some are relaxed and confident, some are tense.

2 ) 20 seconds

The shuttle lands near the base and the squad makes its way to the entrance, which has been built underground at the foot of a cliff. It is night, but there are no lights visible and no sign of life. They tentatively enter the structure and start to explore, with only a few torch beams breaking the complete darkness. There is an eerie atmosphere. The base is deserted, and they discover that the power source is offline.

3) 25 seconds

After they have gone deeper inside the base, they enter a large room. They hear a noise, but they can’t see well enough with just their torches, so one of the group lights a flare. It reveals some of the expeditionary team members, with a multitude of small grotesque aliens crawling on them, which initially recoil at the flare, but then attack. A few of the squad members are overwhelmed, while the others try to shoot at the aliens, but they are too small and fast moving to hit in the darkness. Losing the battle, the squad starts to run in panic to try to escape.

4) 20 seconds

The squad is now frantically trying to reach the exit of the base, but the troops are a long way in and it is difficult to move very fast in the darkness. The squad leader calls the mother ship so it will be ready to evacuate them as quickly as possible. As they run they try to knock over cabinets and machinery that are lying around, to create obstacles to delay their pursuers, but it is not successful. Those at the rear are caught.

5) 15 seconds

Eventually the survivors rush out of the moon base entrance, and the mother ship immediately fires its primary weapon into the cliff above the entrance. This causes a landslide that buries the entrance, trapping the aliens inside.

6) 20 seconds

Having made the journey back in the shuttle, the squad leader is again aboard the mother ship, reflecting on the recent events. Most of his team were lost, and he feels responsible for what has happened. They have discovered what happened to the expeditionary team, but at a price.
