SNOE is back with an incredible versatile yet satisfyingly coherent release. For the balling nr. 8 they have the spanish producers and DJs Jorge Montia and DJ Raid on board with a dark but still pepping track called „Renaissance“. It’s a huge tune with atmospheric sounds, which drew the label bosses Andreas Henneberg and Beth Lydi together for a remix. Their remix is a more minimalistic and technoid interpretation, designed to set every dance floor on fire. For the second remix the label friends Not Usual took their turn on turning the track into a classic Not Usual powertool, dark, deep and rolling.

Premiere: Apollonia 'El Senor Vador' (The Martinez Brothers Leap Frog Mix)

If you're into house music, chances are you will have heard 'Son Of Raw' by the don, Dennis Ferrer. It's a seminal track that features sumptuous pianos, rolling percussion and timeless vocals that simply ooze seduction. Basically, it's a fucking classic.

What's most shocking about the track is that it's now 10-years-old and even though Ferrer was producing long before that, it's one of his best and most recognisable tracks. To celebrate the anniversary, Ferrer's label Objektivity will release a brand new set of remixes that each put a unique spin on the original stomper.

André Hommen's remix keeps the main melodies intact but adds a bassline that doesn't mess around. It adds an extra element of bounce and once the second half of the track hits, those sultry vocals come charging in, sending goosebumps up any real house music fan's spine.

The 'Need Somebody' EP comes with with three original tracks and a remix of the title cut and we've got the premiere of Borrowed Identity's rework. Trust us when we say this is a golden slice of bumping house. The German-Romanian​ producer is another artist who can change his style depending on vibe and mood and his remix is the stand-out on the record.

The piano chords are lifted from the original and introduced early on with fierce stabs, while smooth vocal cuts glide over the top. The kick drums are heavy and spread liberally throughout and the melodies, well they're just damn beautiful. We've had this one on repeat. 

Premiere: Ben Sims Pres. Ron Bacardi 'Need Somebody' (Borrowed Identity Remix)

‘Dippin’ Side (Joseph Capriati remix)’ maintains the high standard we’ve come to expect of the Italian, who turns in a reworked version of the track that's marked by its thumping percussion and woozy vocal sample.

Grenier's latest offering on Omnidisc is more of the stellar same and we've got the premiere of 'Rotorvator', our favourite cut on the EP. The synths are jagged and disjointed but they work perfectly with the solid drive and fierce kicks. 

We've seen videos of Danny Daze dropping this one and naturally it causes a right ruckus.
