Tuff London are fast becoming the most exciting new house duo in the Country. Their debut release ‘Sending Love’ was a huge success that saw a top 20 position on Beatport, inclusion on the recent Space album on Carl Cox’s disc and countless Radio One plays from Danny Howard.

Welcome to the follow up coming out on Toolroom on September 30th and our Debut Transmission Today. ‘Front Line’ is a peak-time house record with a chunky, rolling groove that sits alongside some old school hoover stabs and insanely catchy and quirky vocals courtesy of Steve Edwards that add that daytime accessibility and instant hook. 

We got a quote from them: “We were pretty overwhelmed with the reception that "Sending Love" received so we knew that the follow up single had to be something special. We wanted to make a record that would be a "party starter" - something to make your fists pump whilst your face smiles, so when we were originally working on the project we knew we needed a really good vocal hook.  In steps the legendary Steve Edwards, and with our powers combined we proudly present "Front Line"!

We sent the track over to Toolroom and they got back to us within 10 minutes saying they'd sign it so we're super excited about sharing this with the world. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed making it."

With its monstrous reverb and distinctive arpeggio synth breakdowns, ‘Up & Down’ is already a cult classic. Originally released on Charles Ramirez’s own label Hall Of Fame Records, it is equal parts Sci-Fi electro balanced with contemporary deep house. Charles Ramirez teamed up with two Romanian house heads Luca M and JUST2 to deliver this sophisticated workout with real depth. 

Franky Rizardo is in his element with this remix, exploring the techy and dark parameters of the track, re-working the synth arpeggios into a rolling motif and filling out the beat for maximum effect. Not just a remix, Franky has made an already outstanding track all his own.

On the premiere, 'Rush' wastes no time in setting up a big club sound.  Hypnotic atmospherics and punchy percussion lead into a breakdown with a stripped back classic garage drumline.  Bass stabs weave in and out of the pounding kicks while muffled echoing vocals give it that 3am warehouse feel.

Although Kid Only's High Street EP only contains two tracks, there's definitely enough kick drum to make even the most demanding raver take a step back.  Set for release on Deja Vu Traxx at the end of February, this is one for the peak time hours

Twin Turbo is proud to present the latest EP from Japan's Hoshina Anniversary, an up-and-banging DJ/Producer whose numerous releases on Boys Noize Records have caught all the right eyes and ears at Turbo. His debut on the label comes in the form of an engrossing low fidelity package titled ‘Phone Case’. The five track EP ensures his place at the fore of the ongoing lo-fi explosion, which we feel is nothing less than the sound of an entire generation dancing to the ideals of democracy.

Inspired by one of our label boss’ most polarizing tweets, this EP is the first Twin Turbo release by an artist citing influences from the worlds of adult contemporary jazz and “Funky Latin,” although the music contained within challenges the very notion that these genres even exist. And this is perhaps the purest expression of the dualistic nature of the Twin Turbo ethos: as far as we are concerned, there is visor-melting insanity, and there is nothing.

Consistently unearthing a hotbed of new talent, Hot Creations next release is Back To The Music from DJ and producer Sooney. The release features two original tracks and a stellar remix from one of the biggest names in dance music, Route 94.

Title track Back To The Music is an exhilarating record shaped through melodic synths and keys alongside a sharp bassline. Route 94 strips back his remix to the bare groove. While the chugging beats of Afraid Of The Dark bring the release to an accomplished close.

London based Sooney fell in love with house, hardcore & jungle in the early 90's. In 2015 he set up his own label, Take Control Records, gaining support from the likes of Shadow Child, Jamie Jones and Gorgon City to name a few. Since being discovered by the Hot Creations family, Sooney’s sights are firmly set on big things for 2017.

Fellow UK artist Route 94 shot into the limelight in 2012 with chart success and has since gone on to appear on labels including Virgin, Defected and Crosstown Rebels, and work with major names like Katy B and Jess Glynne.
