DiMarco Type kicks off 2018 for JVNILE with his breathtaking Sir Grapefellow EP. 'Lucky Charms' starts off the EP strong with some warm synths and a booming 808 kick drum, before things get a bit more jumpy in the title track 'Sir Grapefellow'. Imagine a futuristic spacecraft taking off and then drifting in orbit as the mellow and calming sounds of 'Quisp' radiate into your ears. With 'Cheerios', the mood takes a more sombre tone, as yet more luscious pads play a moving melody. Very quickly, hope is restored with 'Kosmostars' setting us up for the full unleashing of DiMarco Type's ability, in the superbly inspiring 'Honey Bunches of Oats'. He's "coming home" with detuned synths and another thumping 808 bass line, showing the world there is plenty more to come from DiMarco in the future.
