The music of this double CD was selected and mixed by the Ibiza institution DJ Zappi, who is since decades a pioneer of Baleriac beach sound.
On CD 1 DJ Zappi drops tunes by artists like Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul, Parra For Cuva, Tarranado, Mario Basanov, Rampue, Kate Simko and many others. It is that certain Deep House sound that is currently favoured all around the globe: laidback, emotional music.
CD2 keeps the blissful deepness and features tracks and remixes by the talents of Soul Button, Kraak & Smaak, Sasha Breamer, Michael Mayer, Low Tales and many others. A beautiful journey into emotional relaxation, that lets you decide if you want to dance on your feet or just lay back and dance inside your head.

When it comes to electronic music in South Africa, there are few artists as prolific as Culoe De Song. Spending his adolescence between playing in Durban clubs and producing helped him land a place at Red Bull Music Academy, where a further stroke of luck led to his huge first release 'The Bright Forest' on the lauded deep house label Innervisions. 

Over the last decade he’s helped to carve South Africa’s booming electronic scene, which he’s largely done alongside the mammoth house artist, Black Coffee. 

He might be one of South Africa’s brightest stars, but it’s actually a relatively rare occurrence to see him playing in London. In anticipation of his Farringdon debut this coming Friday, we got in touch with him for an exclusive mix and conversation. For his mix, he compiled an hour of emotion-laden African rhythms.
