MAD Sabez has been a serious musician for the past 5-10 years now and released several projects which has cemented him as a force to be reckoned with within the UK music scene. ‘On the Corner’ (2006), catapulted Sabez to the forefront of UK Rap during the channel U days and remained at the top of the charts for several weeks. Sabez’ musical influences include a very diverse range of artists such as ‘Skibbadee’, Baseman, Nas, Fresh Prince and Tupac to name a few. 

He was most active in the music scene between 2006-2011 and during this time he released several mixtapes: ‘Are you nuts out here?’, ‘We Really do This’, ‘On the Corner’, ‘Knowledge is Power’ and ‘The Best of Sabez’ which allowed him to experiment with many rap different styles. After this he took a step back from music to focus on other business ventures and created www.madworkshops.com. He returned to the music scene with 2012’s ‘Say Nada’ and then followed up with 2013’s ‘I’m Feeling Good’. Before releasing the mixtape ‘We Fall Down’ in 2015. 

Similar to an undiscovered diamond, Sabez’ is multifaceted. This has been both a gift and a curse throughout his music career because while he has been able to entertain several different musical audiences this has also stunted the growth of a solid fan base which is definitely a challenge when it comes to selling a product. Sabez’ is able to deliver many different styles such as that “thought provoking”, “deep” content such as 2008’s ‘God Vs Devil’, he can drop those “Skippy flow”, “punchline” rap as showcased on his verse during 2014’s ‘NWO’ track freestyle and he can also drop that “uplifting inspirational rap” as showcased in 2013’s ‘I’m Feeling Good’. 

Throughout 2016 Sabez has been working on his forthcoming E.P ‘Surf The Wave’ which is a promotional tool for his latest book release (www.waynejordon.com). The first single ‘Let the Music Play’ is due for release at the end of November 2016. Sabez has said that this is his greatest project to date and is very excited for its release, “It will help so many people find their way, which has been all I have been trying to do for all these years”.
