Nepenthe is about intentional numbness — not escapism, but relief.
It sits in the space between pressure and release, where repetition dulls the edge and sound becomes a sedative. Heavy, hypnotic grooves carry the track forward while evolving textures blur emotion rather than dramatise it. Nothing is rushed, nothing is overexplained — the track lets momentum do the work.
It’s not trying to uplift or destroy the dancefloor.
It’s about suspension — the moment where pain, thought, and urgency temporarily dissolve.
If there’s catharsis here, it’s quiet and earned.

Like a fine, maturing (unwanted) bottle of buckfast, these tunes have been sat in a dusty corner collecting cobwebs for a few years.
