In the boundless expanse of the afterlife, souls congregated around enigmatic instruments, not of wood and string, but of ethereal energies. They traversed the fractal landscapes of thought, seeking the elusive chords that resonated with the fundamental truths of existence. Each note reverberated through the fabric of reality, unravelling the mysteries of consciousness and time. In this cosmic symphony, a solitary soul delved into the depths of the metaphysical, plucking chords that transcended comprehension. As the celestial harmonies intertwined, they whispered secrets of the universe's creation and dissolution, challenging the notion of reality itself. Amidst the chaos of cosmic contemplation, souls realised that the melody of existence was a fleeting illusion, and the afterlife's harmony lay the keys to unlocking the enigma of eternity.

Bio/
"The hum of the oversaturated compressor, the hiss generated by dubbing and overdubbing, the psychoacoustic phenomenon of the phaser and flanger effect, the never-ending feedback noise reinjecting its own signal through echo and reverb. That is what we like."
Heavenchord liked music since his childhood. In 1998, Arthur started DJíing. In 2002-2004, he organised rave parties and international electronic music festivals with Hardskull & Liquid Moon in Armenia. After moving to South Russia, he started producing his own original music and became a resident in local chill-out and lounge bars. Music production is the main thing in Arthurís life. His production is always based on experiments, psychedelics and personal sound synthesis, although Heavenchord is more about classic dub techno, with heavy chords and tape hiss.

Just as dub pioneers like King Tubby and Lee "Scratch" Perry sculpted spacious soundscapes with tape delays and reverbs, dub techno artists manipulate electronic echoes and reverberations to create immersive sonic journeys. The rhythmic pulse and hypnotic basslines of dub techno pay tribute to the foundational rhythms of reggae and dub while embracing the futurism of electronic music. Through intricate layering and manipulation of sound, dub techno artists continue to bridge the temporal and cultural gap, ensuring that the soulful vibrations of Jamaica's dub legacy resonate across generations and genres.

Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. That's what it's all about...
Armin has been into techno for over 30 years. Started DJing in the 90s. He is still DJing, mainly with Vinyl. Since the early 2000s, he's been active in and around Erlangen / Nuremberg (Germany) as a member of the local non-profit Electronic Party Collective called "STRONG SIGNALS". So far, he has released the OHM series, spclnch, and Piranha Siberia Dub on Greyscale.

Kostas Staikos (aka Substak). Greek electronic music producer, was born and raised in the city of Athens. The start of his journey into music began at 2011 when decided to escape a bit from real life & started mixing and producing. His music genres include: Ambient, Dub, Dub Techno, Minimal & Minimal Techno. Over 13 years of production, Kostas has released more than 200 releases on various thematic labels.
The podcast is dedicated to a good friend, producer Shebuzzz, who died shortly before. R.I.P.
