The band blossomed during the pandemic and created SPEAKS, an uplifting album filled to the brim with soul and harmony that celebrates the joy of being together again with the people that matter most. Recorded at The Finishing School in Austin, TX with producer Gordy Quist (Band of Heathens), SPEAKS gives the band a chance to showcase every facet of their strength from massive harmonies, thrilling saxophone and guitar solos, and incredible songwriting. MADAM RADAR is at the top of their game but they don't feel like stopping now.

HANDS is the first single off the upcoming MADAM RADAR album SPEAKS. Known for their rotating cast of lead singers and songwriters, Jace takes the front stage to sing an upbeat ballad about holding hands with his wife, guitarist Kelly Green. Laced with a wall of harmonies and rocking guitar, HANDS is a good ol' fashioned love song that makes listeners reach for their loved ones hands and ask them for a dance.

Austin, Texas based four-piece MADAM RADAR release their newest single ‘HOLE IN MY HEAD’ arriving August 27th, 2023.

It comes as no surprise that the city of Austin has the group on its radar, with the band catching opening dates with artists such as Bon Jovi and Arc Angels in 2022-2023, MADAM RADAR has been gaining momentum and selling out shows throughout Texas. 

After the success of their second album "Speaks" and their critically acclaimed single "Hands" that Kevin Connor of Austin's Sun Radio called "The best song to come out of Austin in 2022", MADAM RADAR left fans excited for the next phase in the band's rapid growth. Enter Curtis Roush, guitarist and co-founder of Austin staple The Bright Light Social Hour. After several serendipitous meetings and shared stages, Roush approached the band about recording a single in TBLSH's own Escondido Sound in Austin, TX. 

MADAM RADAR stepped into the studio to bring life to a crowd favorite "Hole in My Head", a song written by bassist Violet Lea about the early stages of love when everything about a new romance seems perfect, the tunnel vision and rose-colored glasses that foolish lovers embrace before they discover what a relationship actually means. The song has an infectious melody set against an upbeat dancing groove and gang vocals. Violet's virtuosic and playful vocals lead the song to a climactic outro of soaring guitars by Kelly Green. Paired with a juicy layer of synth and bombastic driving drums, "Hole in My Head" is an earworm that will make you fall in love.

MADAM RADAR comes out swinging with fan favorite "Bamboo Chops", a single inspired by Rambo that is thicker than a milkshake. The band worked with Grammy Award-winning engineer Steve Chadie (Willie Nelson, Sublime, Los Lonely Boys) to bring this massive thumping rock song to life. Recorded in Texas at Spectra Studios.

MADAM RADAR is an Americana rock band that punches hard with their explosive harmonies, soaring guitar solos, and eclectic original tunes. The band is a tangled web of family and friends; Jace Cadle (rhythm guitar/vocals) is married to Kelly Green (lead guitar/vocals) who is the sister of Kody Lee (drums/vocals) who is engaged to Violet Lea (bass/vocals).

Fronted by the trio of Kelly, Violet, and Jace, MADAM RADAR is a revolving door of high-energy singer-songwriters, each with their own perspective and style that magically seem to overlap like the layers of a kaleidoscope. With all four members of the band providing harmonies, MADAM RADAR is a wall of colorful sound that changes shape, demanding your undivided attention. 

MADAM RADAR has shared stages with Renowned acts such as Bon Jovi, Arc Angels, Lukas Nelson, Hayes Carll, Billy Joe Shaver, Jack Ingram, Shinyribs, Jackie Venson, and Comedian Ron White. They are a two-time Sonic Guild (formerly Black Fret) Grant recipient and were the first Austin-based band to perform at the Moody Center in Austin, TX. 

MADAM RADAR released their first full length album under the name “The Texas KGB” in 2016 titled Songs in the Key of Pain. In 2017, they released their second full length album titled Welcome Home. Both were recorded at 512 Studios with Omar Vallejo. 

MADAM RADAR announced their name change after being awarded their second grant from Black Fret in December 2019 at The Black Ball at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. They then released their third full length album Madam Radar in February of 2020. It was recorded at The Finishing School in Austin, Texas and produced by Gordy Quist of The Band of Heathens and engineered by Grammy award winning Steve Christensen.  

During the global pandemic shortly following the release of Madam Radar, the band had to find a unique way to navigate the difficult situation and created a livestream that blossomed into a weekly internet variety show. The MADAM RADAR Saturday Extravaganza spanned 63 episodes from March of 2020 to June 2021. It featured the band performing a variety of covers and new originals written during the pandemic, as well as games and auctions for the fans to interact with the band. They even created Halloween and Christmas specials and a jingle for their favorite shot- Iron Hot, made out at Iron Wolf Ranch and Distillery in Spicewood, Texas. 

In October of 2021, MADAM RADAR went back into The Finishing School with Gordy Quist and Steve Christensen to record their newest studio album SPEAKS. It was released to a sold out show July 30th of 2022 at the 04 Center in Austin, TX. Kevin Conner of Austin’s Sun Radio called MADAM RADAR’s single Hands, “The best song to come out of Austin in 2022.”
