H-Sik and Madame Bert are two homies frome the same town, Valence Angeles as they call it, a little place near Lyon in the south east of France. 
This EP see the french-ivorian producer, known for international releases on labels such as Black Acre, Mad-Hop and Error Broadcast, and the multi-talented MC and beatmaker unite their forces to deliver a versatile release.
On the 3 tracks of the"Phénomènes" EP, they explore various landscapes of bass music, from baile funk to footwork, dubstep, and grime. 
Fiercely independant, the two friends work don't follow the codes and rules of any genre, and the title track is an untranslatable wordplay in french about making things happen, created by themselves

Vocals of "Vending Machine" by the one and only Taliban Trim. I also used the "Earth Chorus" , recorded by the NASA in space a few years ago, as a sample. 
Acapella de Trim sur le morceau "Vending Machine", remixé par mes soins, un peu à l'arrache mais avec du coeur. J'ai aussi utilisé quelques bouts de sample du "Earth Chorus", enregistré par la NASA dans l'espace il y a deux ou trois ans.

I just used one or two sounds of mine (like a little organ you can hear once) but keeping it Yuku-only as much as possible, trying to blend genres I love in a new way (exploration as always). Not the best at mixing and mastering I know, but I loved to do it and had a lot of fun, thanks to @yukumusic team for the challenge, to the artists for the delightful samples, large up everyone involved in this challenge.
