Using arps from the Moog Subharmonicon, wrote this track around it. Since there's such a contrast between the drop and the rest of the song, I've titled it thus

The Flip Side

I started with a sample of Kevin Saunderson in an interview when people could gather together in places. He was talking about when the Belleville Three (the founders of Detroit Techno)started making a new genre of Electronic music. I used it in a track I was using as an instructional project for a YouTube video series.

Was playing a Dreadbox Typhon and came up with the main hook. Added a Moog Matriarch and Sub 37 and wallah! Thor hit me in the head

Rivalry

Some tracks I release as El Brujo Blanco or Elyot & some tracks I don't release as El Brujo Blanco or Elyot. A tweak here... tongue of the newt there. Some of these songs are quite old. Speaking of which, I create all of these from my Wizard's tower in Long Beach, CA with traditional analog synthesizers, a couple soft synths, a real bass or two, several guitars, & whatever I can find that sounds musical. I have musical ear syndrome, so sometimes what you hear is what I hear what comes out of droning sounds like electric heaters and such. The muse gives this to me or I am completely insane. Almost all of the time I have no idea what I'm going to record before I sit at a synth. That's the beauty of it and I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope that some of this music inspires you to do something good in the world or just sit and enjoy.
