Stephan_Hendricks is a German musician, music producer, singer, composer and lyricist. Born in Dortmund, he first became known to a wide audience as the frontman of the band "Jelly Planet" before he started as a solo artist. He has released several albums with companies such as Sony Music, Virgin Records and so on. Together with his former band he wrote and composed a title for the Hollywood blockbuster "Igby Goes Down".

"The melody of rhythm" - "Percussion drives emotions": this is a musical arc of tension that goes far beyond the boundaries of the usual. The percussionist Ullip is on the one hand inspired by diverse influences such as world music and jazz, classical and experimental, but always seeks and finds his own way to express moods in tempos and feelings in the specific sound of the percussion instruments

A minimalist and experimental soundscape that blends together a range of abstract sounds and textures. The foundation of the track is a low, string-like pad that provides a haunting backdrop. Layered on top of this are a range of disparate sounds, including abstract radio static and feedback, sparse glitchy sound effects. Abstract vocal phrases, incomprehensible in their delivery, float through the mix. These droning sounds create an atmosphere of tension and unease, while sparse percussion adds a touch of urgency. The use of heavy sound design and subtle tonal changes create an evolving soundscape that captures the imagination. This track is a journey into the unknown, a sonic exploration of the depths of the mind. It's a track that will leave you feeling disoriented and mesmerized at the same time.

History:

"Mad Blunt" was originally launched in the late 90's  to allow the crew to combine the sounds, art  and energy created under one identity. Based in the South West of England we have been involved for over 25 years in dj'ing, promoting, indoor and outdoor events, graphics and music production. We were a featured act on one of the first true underground Internet radio stations ran by Ninjatune, as part of a weekly 5 hour broadcast by "Deep Rinse" on the legendary "Pirate TV" network, first in live streaming audio visual content from various scheduled locations around the globe.
Our music has been played and supported by various Club and Radio DJ's, and used in Film & Television.
