Parker and the rest of his Tame Impala bandmates are nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Rock Album of the Year for "Lonerism."
  
They also won Best Rock Album at the ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association) just a few months ago and won the Best Group category.
