Garota De Ipanema (Antonio Carlos Jobim)

The title means 'house of the champion', referencing the legendary Brazilian composer and musician, Hermeto Pascoal. The directions to his house were in a message to Joyce, and she turned those words into this great song!

Na Casa Do Campeao(Joyce Moreno)

Composed by Madcouch's bassist OJ Newcomb, with a Portuguese translation by Anje West, this song was nominated as a finalist in the Jazz category at the 2020 Queensland Music Awards.

Meu Anjo

The View From Madeleine's Couch arranged this version of one of their favourite Da Lata songs for their Brazilian tour over the summer of '12/'13.  The song was recorded at Master Studios in Niteroi with the great Marcio Bahia on drums, Mazinho Ventura on bass and Dino Rangel on guitar.
