There was a good deal of confusion over this mix. Sidenote: When Remedy and I agreed to do this remix, we knew it would be tough. The original is a classic, which can present a problem for 2 producers that are tasked with remixing it. The question was... Do we go in a completely different direction from the original, or do we just stay faithful to the original and do a version of it with our own twists, drums, edits and what not. Ultimately, we chose to keep it simple and go for a tribute to the original as opposed to a total flip. Anyhow, I stand by our decision. Personally, I really like this remix a lot and it has been going off really well at my shows. Much love to Zomboy for having us remix this one.
