Brazilian Adventure

In memoriam of the mighty motherfucking Carmen Amaya (1918-1963), called "the greatest spanish gypsy dancer of her generation" and "the most extraordinary personality in flamenco dance of all time". 
She was born in one of the poorest neighborhoods of  Barcelona in the beginning of the XX Century: the Barracas of Somorrostro(which does not even exist nowadays!!!)
Due to her speed, intensity and character, she was the first ever female flamenco dancer to mastering footwork, something previously reserved only for the very best male dancers. 
She sometimes danced in high-waisted trousers "as a symbol of her strong character"
