Hey everyone. Thanks for checking out my new single, released with Westwood Recordings. I'm obsessed with electronic sounds that resemble water or fluid and I really enjoyed experimenting with different techniques to achieve those sounds for this song. For example, in the halftime section (~1:05) there is a watery crackly sound that precedes the snare drum. This sound was created by me crumpling a sheet of paper into the microphone and then reversing and processing the recording. I had alot of fun writing this song and I hope you enjoy it!

Supa/Fly is a 2 track EP of funkadelic electronic jams featuring St4rfox on trumpet, and Gaddy on keyboard woven together by meticulous production from 5AM. Through whimsical, evocative riffs and soaring, evolving soundscapes, the trio has captured the essence of flight through sound. It's rare to hear recognizable samples in 5AM's music, but when an uplifting message from Steve Miller found it's way onto an equally uplifting beat, Fly was born, and a new side of 5AM's sound was revealed. We hope you enjoy the flight!
