Some say the melody drifted across an open door,
others whisper it was borrowed through an indigo gate.

But I will only say this: a legend in the North may rap,
yet a lady on the coast knows how to answer.

Three Hours Only

I’m Maddy Rivers, from Cornwall. Cats, books, and old jazz records are my quiet companions. 
A touch of spirituality follows me – moon phases, singing bowls, a cup of herbal tea at dusk. I believe in order, even in music: three hours a day are quite enough. And sometimes, I think of distant rivers.
