This is a midi mockup of a score written on Staffpad- a pretty amazing piece of software, all done on an iPad.  Dynamics, slight tempo tweaks and articulations are all controlled by the notation itself. The only external effects added afterward was normalization to bring the volume up a tiny bit, but otherwise no equalization, compression, additional reverb etc.  The music is from a movie called "Dancer in the Dark" which may be the most depressing movie ever.

From way back in college. Part 3 of a 3 part piece exploring the cycle of life (through the eyes of a 20 year old).  This movement was built around exploring the harmonic scale and going from smaller to larger intervals.  I remember being really happy with how the flute part sounded the first time I heard it played.

Based in New Mexico, Made of Wood mixes funk, chill-out and electronic music into a gooey, tasty treat.

The music is a mix of acoustic and electronic, live and sampled sounds, many of the sampled sounds coming from alterations of performances and improvisations.

In February 2012, Made of Wood released "The Chill/Funk Trip" to glowing reviews, and the follow-up Narcotherapy Hypnosis came out in 2014.
