Here is my humble tribute to *Mukesh ji*…. Although, I am late in paying my respects on his Birthday but this one comes from the heart….. Better late than not!!

This is one of the timeless gems immortalized by *Raj Kapoor* through the golden voice of *Mukesh* Saab.  This gem comes from *“Parvarish”* (1958).  *Hasrat Jaipuri* is the lyricist. But two other important pieces of the jigsaw have been replaced here. *Mala Sinha* (NOT Nargis) featured in this movie, and *Dattaram Wadkar* (instead of Shankar Jaikishan) is the music director.  Dattaram led S/J’s rhythm section for a long time and was widely known for introducing the “Dattu Thheka” prominently heard in “Ghadi Ghadi Mera Dil Dhad ke”.
