Madhushree is an established Bollywood playback singer and live performer. Within just a few years she has become one of the leading playback singers in the Hindi film industry, lending her voice to all the leading actresses of Bollywood including Aishwarya Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Katrina Kaif. Her mentor, Oscar-winning A.R. Rahman brought her into the limelight with several compositions including "Kabhi Neem Neem" (Yuva). She has also recorded songs in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, and has won a Sony Stardust Award for Best Female Playback Singing sensation, as well as a GIFA Award nomination. Madhushree also won at the Jhoom India Reality show with co-contestant/partner Sachin Tyagi. She has performed live both in India and abroad (U.S.A., Canada, Europe, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai), and one of her most memorable performances was at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
