ニューヨークのロングアイランドで2008年に結成した5人組バンド。 ブルックリンを拠点とし、2010年に自主レーベル〈Infinite Best〉から発表したEP２枚がたちまちに話題となり、　80年代を基調としたドリーミーでクラウトなシューゲイズ・ポップは当時のUSインディ・シーンを席巻していたチルウェイヴと共鳴、 インディ大手の〈Domino 〉と契約。2011年の〈Dead Ocean〉からのスプリット・シングル”Meet The Frownies” はDr. DreをフィーチャーしたKenDrick Lamarのヒット作”The Recipe” のサンプルとして使われ、2012年に満を持してのフル・レングスのデビュー・アルバム『In Heaven』を〈Domino〉より発表、哀愁やレトロな趣を残すもR&B、ファンク、ディスコといった新境地へと踏み出す。リード・シンガーのAndrea Estellaは人気テレビ・ドラマ・シリーズ『Veronica Mars』の映画版のキャストに抜擢。最新作でもソングライティングを多彩なアレンジとプロダクション・ワークで洗練したポップスへとアップデートしその実力をみせつけた、USインディが誇る実力派インディ・ポップ・バンド。
