DJ Plead, Phillip Jondo and Xzavier Stone join forces in a collaborative EP that not only signifies the birth of a profound friendship and creative alliance but also traces the roots of their interconnected musical journey. Crafted over several years, this body of work was meticulously shaped through both remote collaboration and sessions held in Xzavier Stone's studio in Zurich. As the trio delves into their mutual musical passions, they skillfully weave together influences from contemporary club music, 00s club rap, and intricate syncopated drum work, creating a sonic tapestry that resonates with innovation and shared artistic vision.

Following the events of "Annihilation" and "Irrational Fear", xato presents the third part of his personal odyssey, "Stories with no fairy tales".

"Stories with no fairy tales" explores the dark self, with intense drone recordings, aggressive drum sounds and deep bass being the main sound focus of the project, surrounded by field-recording manipulations and deeply evolving textures.

As the project's tracks aged between 2019 and 2021, it never felt like the right time to release the project. However things changed when the reasons behind the tracks were revamped in the more recent years.

Following up from work on Björk´s 'Fossora', Icelandic trio 'sideproject' debut on SVBKVLT with their new full-length album 'sourcepond'. Taking influence from the fog-covered wetlands of their native island, sideproject transfigure influences from the low-end frequencies of grime and bass music, and reshape it into a haze of transient-smeared beats accompanied by breathy synths that grow ever wetter till they slip beneath the surface tensions of their harmonic stratum. Compared to previous output, 'sourcepond' opts for a more concise approach to their music, stacking up their influences of experimental electronic, Icelandic punk and contemporary club music, and builds a sound that oscillates between melodic hooks and experimental rhythms. Each track carves through the sensuous material, pulling the listener into the dank sourcepond as though magnetic forces were guiding a bird's beak towards misty horizons.

A sonic summary of Paigon Bard’s ideas and feelings as an outsider from a small country now making his mark on the electronic scene in London. The project combines the innovative grooves of contemporary UK bass with the energy of the early 2000s big beat records that sparked his obsession with electronic music. The result is a playful interpretation of the UK electronic music landscape, capturing its weirdness and sexiness with an added Estonian twist.
