Confessions is about those conversations you have with your own inner saboteur. That little voice inside your head that won't go away, but you also use to push yourself forward because you don't want to give in. Each song uses whatever weird concepts come to my brain at the time to communicate this. This album tells a loose story all the way thru, I really wanted to let go a bit more and have fun. Enjoy

Charlie Brown's Field Goal - "It's Lit!"

8thW1 & Fresh Daily met in the early 2000's on NYC's hip-hop open mic & showcase circuit. 
Fans of each other's styles and wishing there would be a win for the underdog, they began recording songs under the name "Charlie Browns Field Goal". Charlie Brown's Field Goal was put on hiatus while Fresh & 8th went on to release a few solo projects before Fresh ventured into creating event series & record label Beat Haus and 8th pursued high education and earning a degree in English.

The vault has been opened and some of the more rarer gems and classics have been now made available to the public.

Dear Dilla, you shaped my perception for music in ways I can't describe in words. Music has always touched my heart, but your music moved my soul. You had a gift of making the most creative music using samples from the most unlikely sources. I'll never understand why someone like you, who could have given the world so much more, would be taken way so soon. Dilla, you "literally" changed lives and you probably saved lives too, because when you make music "straight from the heart," it's not just music anymore.

You will always be my favorite musician of all time....
