Life after university: aspiring to be a pilot in Canada!

Please excuse me and let me tell you about my story of how I ended up in the west coast of the north side - Me and my flyboys, and all the airplanes we ride

I’ve been getting higher than the ground under my shoes

Far away from my days in Diliman
with my BS degree doing gigs in Katipunan
Furthermore, I wouldn’t want to bore ‘ya
Simply said, I’m now in Beauty, British Columbia

I’m still missin’ all my homies in Manila
there’s my old friends, there’s Therese, and my familia
But now I’m doing well, it’s been a year and a half
And now I’m stuck at home tryna learn how to rap

Here I made some new friends, yeah they’re pretty cool
My Filipino gang, and some Canadians too
and now I bet you’re wonderin’ what I’ve been trying to do

That’s why I’m here in Canada so I can get my license
To be a pilot, pay for rice and
