GEMITAIZ - 10 - SUPERMAN pt.2

MadMan, nome d’arte di Pierfrancesco Botrugno, è un rapper tra i più talentuosi della scena italiana.

MadMan entra nel mondo dell’hip hop nel 2006, partecipando alla competizione di freestyle italiana Tecniche perfette. Nel 2007 pubblica il suo primo mixtape, autoprodotto, intitolato “Riscatto” e successivamente rilascia il singolo “Prequel”.
Nel 2008 è il momento di “R.I.P.”, il secondo mixtape, e nel 2010 tutto è pronto per la pubblicazione del primo album “Escape from Heart”, uscito in free download.

Nel 2011 inizia la collaborazione con il rapper romano Gemitaiz. I due pubblicano i primi due mixtape insieme: “Haterproof” e “Detto, fatto” nel 2012. Sono solo i primi passi per il duo, che pubblicherà due album firmati a quattro mani, e voci: “Kepler” nel 2014 e “Scatola Nera” nel 2019.
Nel 2013, prima di firmare con Tanta Roba Label, Madman rilascia in free download “MM Vol. 1”, dando vita a una serie di mixtape importantissimi nel settore. Nel 2015 esce “Doppelganger”, seguito a stretto giro da “MM Vol.2”, il secondo capitolo del mixtape. Questo contiene il brano “Veleno 6” feat. Gemitaiz, che resta uno dei singoli di maggior successo dell’artista, con tre certificazioni di Platino.

MadMan continua negli anni ad alternare release di mixtape e album. Escono “Back Home” nel 2018 e “MM Vol. 3” nel 2019, certificati rispettivamente Platino e Oro.
Nel giugno del 2019, torna a collaborare con Gemitaiz, e insieme rilasciano “Veleno 7” che batte il record nazionale di stream giornalieri per una sola traccia su Spotify. Il pezzo anticipa l’uscita di “Scatola Nera”, un altro lavoro frutto del mix esplosivo di MadMan e Gemitaiz.

Dopo due anni di pandemia, MadMan torna a novembre 2021 con “MM Vol. 4”, il cui sound è curato quasi interamente da PK. Più cupo dei precedenti, figlio di un tempo di introspezione e incertezze. In tracklist tra le altre, c’è l’ottavo capitolo della saga “Veleno” feat. Gemitaiz.
A partire dal settembre 2022 i due condividono anche il Gemitaiz & MadMan live tour 2022 nei palasport italiani, che segue il successo di MadMan con l’MM4 SUMMER TOUR che ha accompagnato i fan del rapper nel corso dell’estate.
