The Mad Marionettes is a musical group of friends, musicians and artists that help forward the creations of composers Daniel and Ivan McCormick. It was founded in 2007 by Daniel and Ivan as well as their close friend Ulises Rodriguez. Through the academic study of the arrangements by The Raymond Scott Quintet, Jaques Brel, Tchaikovsky and many others, The Marionette Combo has taken their appreciation for lost and almost forgotten vintage works, and brought them back to life with their unique ideas and original compositions. For an audience, this is not just another band for cafe viewing, the combo is an entire engagement, which one can feel within their soul, as they carefully dictate harmonies and timbres, and package them into sentimental and engraving arrangements for the listeners heart rather than ears.
