With remarkably smooth skills Madmotormiquel threads his audio tracks through genres and stilistic hints, creating harmonic coherence from elements that seem to be contrary. For instance Hip Hop and floorward boosting dance music: In Daddy Are You Proud the producer from Berlin spreads jazzy piano samples and poetic rap among a booming bass line and whipping hi hats. Rather than focusing on the vocal, Mollono.Bass follows the synthesizer line from the accoustic background of the original... a journey that leads him straight into mind-boggling melodic depths. The atmospheric dynamics of Recall evolve as a result of rhythmic chain reactions in the lower and upper frequency spectrum, diffusig into the twilight of dramatic pad sounds. Last but not least there is the playful irony of Too Much Money Not Enough Style, a beautiful contrast between a dreamy piano and bubbling beats. Catchy grooves from a mesmerizing world in between styles!

Fusion Festival 2024 b2b with my dear friend Nacho Isa at my homebase Panne Eichel/ Bachstelzen floor.

this wasnt an easy year for me during a palestinian boycott of the festival as i stand with my friends from palestine and the arab world during these terrible times of an ongoing genocide. but i decided to be there and talk to people and see what is going on at our beloved fusion festival. 
in the end i was happy to see many artists standing with palestine and speaking up , and many people wearing Kufiyas in solidarity with palestine.
we had a great time playing and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did <3

this is always something really special, because it's about great food, delicious wine and great music i never play in a club.
this selection is 90% vinyl....some rare stuff from the 50s, 60s,70s...lot of 7"s, lot of stuff i found in small record shops in south africa, egypt or somewhere else in the world.
i really love to play stuff like this from time to time and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
this is not a mix!
and this is only 4 from 5 or 6 hours, then the battery of my recorder died ;)

i still can't really imagine amsterdam and the world without him but i feel like i owe him this recording.
