Life of a remixer is a lonely life. You sit hours in front of your computer. You run out of ideas, you think about collaborating with someone who inspires and challenges you with sounds and beats you wouldn’t normally use… That’s when Dubtronic & Marco Sartori got in touch, because they use the same Musicmaker program. We decided to make a remix together, our first collaboration, “Take A Bow“.  That was in 2016. Last year, when the pandemic startet and we all had to stay at home, we continued our working relationship and produced more remixes of album tracks and b-sides. We tried different sounds, even startet making remixes for other artists… But our love for Madonna is the reason we actually met, so with this compilation we want to show you the remixes we have done of our Queen, including two unreleased remixes of "Mother and Father“

4 - Iconic (Lukesavant Rework)

"I Can't Forget" An unreleased collaboration with David Foster. Recorded with two other released songs for the Something to Remember retrospective album but this one was never used.  The song was later recorded by Tilt. They released their version titled "Come Closer" on their 2006 album Vaults. Madonna is credited as writer of the song.The song was also given to Canadian singer Angelica DiCastro for her album "Beautiful Feeling". The song is credited to David Foster and Madonna.

In late December 2019 through early January of this year, a very clear next release would be a ballad remix album.  Later this morphed into more ballad, chill vibe, downtempo overall feel.  Thankfully, we have very agreeable remixers that showed they were ready for this challenge, they are true artists and very much appreciated.  Many thank U’s to the “3rd Time’s A Charm” production duo of Roman Nurmemägi & Mary H Clarke.  This record was more of a collaborative effort of somewhat of a small consortium of remixers. Thank you all for coming together!   I would like to single out a particular person who’s involvement in Lonely Hunter deserves a very special mention.  It takes a very strong person of character and craft, to be able under significant pressures of recent life under Covid, pressures from me, pressures from our temporary consortium of remixers…. Roman, your vision for the overall visual look and feel of Lonely Hunter is your best work ever.  On behalf of the whole team, we are not worthy… Thank you so very much for all you do!
