Get Physical Music enlist an exciting selection of remixers to add their own spin to M.A.N.D.Y.'s classic 'Gizmo,' with Amine K & Yahya, Christopher Schwarzwälder and Minaday all contributing. 

'Gizmo' first landed in 2015 and is one of the many modern classics in the discography of the great German production outfit M.A.N.D.Y. It remains a firm dance floor favourite so is a perfect track to get some fresh new interpretations from contemporary talents. Morocco’s Amine K makes organic music that has a deep emotional connection and rich sense of melody. He is Oasis festival's resident DJ and has released on Bar 25, Akbar Music and Souvenir. Here he works with fellow Moroccan talent Yahya, who has a similarly enchanting sound. Their take on 'Gizmo' is colourful and melodic, with enchanting keys and shuffling drums overlaid with exquisite acoustic melodies and real North African soul. 

Chris Schwarzwälder's distinctive style of deep, restrained House has made him a Berlin mainstay. His solo sounds are at home on the likes of Denature Records and Katermukke, while he also collaborates with Mira and is part of the experimental project Feathered Sun. On this remix, he cuts loose with his favourite synths and layers in flashing stabs, undulating chords and tense, textured leads. They keep you locked into the late-night melodic tech for the whole atmospheric duration. Minaday is a brand new artist who makes a fantastic impression here. The excellent remix is alive with bubbling xylophone melodies and inviting organic drums. String sounds add a tropical atmosphere during the breakdown and take you to a place of real and rare house beauty. 

These are three fantastic interpretations that take 'Gizmo' in fascinating new directions.

'Luna, Rojo y Palmera' (Moon, Red & Palm Tree) makes reference to a magical night with red hues on a warm beach somewhere in the Caribbean. A dreamy night, filled with melancholy from the humming sounds coming from the coast.

For this release, KEENE wanted to create contrast, yet keep the characteristic sound that represents their Cacao Records label.

Berlin Techno queen Anja Schneider offers a huge remix taking its cues from breakbeats providing a retro-future feel, building through bobbing arpeggios. A melancholic and theatrical mix, complemented by big sweeps and minor chords that punctuate in the background. A massive remix that hypnotises.

Complementing this, is an Afro interpretation from Saint Evo, a gifted DJ/Producer from the Savannah plains of Kenya, home of the famed Maasai people. Constantly bringing the sensuous vocals from Barbie Williams who combines playfully with Evo's characteristic stabs. Massive breakdowns resulting in an energetic centered raw lead, accented by bleeps and sweeps for extra zest. A mind-melting remix for the more melodic Afro house enthusiasts.'

Next up on MIDH comes ‘Hurting’, a three-track missive by Sandhaus & Anerah Yasole, with additional interpretations by prolific producer Aldebaran and Madrid’s Luke Garcia. 

One of the most unique vocalists out there at the moment, the Israeli SANDHAUS, collaborates with South Africa’s finest, Anerah Yasole and they deliver a deep / afro / melodic single in perfect 2022 fashion. The two producers have already made their name in labels like Rennaisance and Offering, and they now bring their a-game on Madorasindahouse:
‘Hurting’ cuts deep. The emotive opener is minimal but with a savage bassline that amplifies its dark and moody tone. Made for a big room and an even bigger system with a resolute dance tribe swaying to the hypnotic beat and melancholic vocal about a love that’s lost. 

On the remix side, Aldebaran and Luke Garcia are reinterpreting the track into their own Innervisions-affiliated sound. Aldebaran takes the title cut and twists it up, taking ‘Hurting’ positively interstellar with its analog acid lines that make for a future festival anthem, already played by Lehar, Musumeci, and Echonomist, while White Isle face, Luke Garcia, heads into further big room dance territory with his afro/Indie inspired rework of this massive tune.

Clemente is a spanish producer and DJ who has committed his whole life to music. After spending his past years embracing numerous musical projects, he finally jumped into the electronic music industry, unifying his passion for synths and tribal sounds in an artistic audiovisual concept.

His vibrating tracks bring together the classic sounds of the most avant garde deep house mixing them with groovy rhythms, creating electrical atmospheres and mind blowing melodies. Always loyal to the pure club sound, he conceives a magical blend of black soul, energy dance music and exotic shades, influenced by the underground vibes of Berlin and the spirituality of other native cultures from Spain. He experiments with and cruises through every music genre in his own personal corner, his studio located near the Mediterranean coast of Valencia. Reuxen hails from Pretoria, South Africa, and is a DJ, producer and sound engineer at the forefront of the Afro-house scene. He has already played on stage with some of the greats and has his own ethereal, atmospheric and emotional take, which he demonstrates here. The instrumental of ‘Darkness’ was made in 2020 - a very dark time for many in the music industry. In 2021, Karaph added her contribution to the track and pushed her emotional vocals forward to tell a sad tale of heartbreak. It sets a fantastic tone above the Afro house drums that is dark but beautiful alongside the sparse yet detailed piano that leads the atmospheric backdrop. Remixer Enoo Napa is an Afro-house legend and a producer of consistent anthems for the scene. He changes up the rhythm feel and adds an edge of abstraction, perfectly setting up the fragile vocals for a hypnotic ride. These are two more authentic Afro-house sounds from scene pioneers at connected.

Los Angeles-based artist Eric Sharp links up once again with longtime collaborator Zhao on the Swedish imprint House Music With Love for an emotional single titled 'Monday Blues' and now the remix package includes three new mint versions by Pandhora, Urmet K and SOAME. 


Pandhora creates very smooth track with a percussion-play that is right on point making it blend perfectly together with the bassline and the wobbly synthesizers. The vocals and the samples are cleverly used and well placed, and the live guitar riffs give it that little extra touch. This track is spacious, yet warm and intimate.
