"My favorite set that we played this year at Burning Man was at Robot Heart. It was probably the only set that I really prepared for with Walshy Fire.

I'll be honest I was a lil nervous because I really wanted to make it run with energy for the full two hours and our typical audience isn't that used to a classic dub and reggae set. Myself and the whole RH crew wanted to create something really special for a sunset party and keep it true to the theme but to still feel like a Robot Heart set. The Robot Heart crew had told me that they wanted and entire set that sounded like "Major Lazer - Get Free" and I had to think hard about it. To keep the vibe going for two hours and for that record to be the climax was a challenge but I realized if you stick to your guns for the whole party and steer the audience in a direction and keep them with you, then anything is possible.  I hope you love it.. It's perfect for a party on a Sunday afternoon and represents a different side of Major Lazer"

Originally Mr. Klaus Schulze, the well-known contemporary of Edgar Froese and pioneer of electronic music was invited to play in the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall(Poland) in June 2016, but unfortunately had to cancel the concert due to his severe state of health. So he suggested Tangerine Dream to perform in his stead, which the band thankfully accepted. The concert took place in a stunningly beautiful location within the framework of the SOUNDLab concert series. This special concert was the first official big concert for the three remaining TD members to perform live within the new period of THE QUANTUM YEARS, the period Edgar Froese, founder and head of Tangerine Dream until his death in January 2015, still had the chance to introduce in Australia in 2014.

Thorsten, Ulrich and Hoshiko chose a series of well-known and popular TD tracks, but also came up with many new arrangements and some very new tracks from their QUANTUM KEY EP. Enjoy listening to a great live concert in Poland in a special atmosphere and with a wonderful audience. Dedicated to Edgar.

Out To Sea (Ulrich Schnauss remix)

Madrid is the musical project of Duncan Christie and Adam Perry. We recorded our first EP in 1997, mixing analog and electronic synths, heavily influenced by Spiritualized and Massive Attack, but wanting to blend those sounds together with all our other influences we had - as varied and vast as Simon and Garfunkel and Skinny Puppy. Instead of choosing a genre, we chose to not choose a genre and just make what came out.
It's been over a decade, and we've put out records, played a ton of gigs, toured internationally, released music videos. 
What I want to do is to get back to why we started making music in the first place - for people to hear it and inspire others. Things can get complicated in the music-making industry: I wanted to simplify and simply...share. We're living in a new age, so please enjoy the sounds....and pass it along if you like. xo
