Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Record is back with a new compilation this September, entitled ‘MadTech 03’ and comprising fourteen original tracks from many leading names in contemporary house music.

It’s been yet another fantastic year for MadTech with releases from the likes of Cera Alba, Artifact and Kalyde, picking up support along the way from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Dubspeeka and BBC Radio 1’s Monki. Here the label returns with yet another hard hitting various artists package, with the likes of PMR’s No Artificial Colours, Bontan, Circus’s Yousef and Leftwing & Kody all delivering brand new exclusive material for the comp.
In true MadTech fashion the ‘03’ compilation offers up an array or raw, dance floor focused house cut ranging from the hypnotic and infectious grooves of Rockaforte’s ‘Hyper Muzik’ and Lupe Fuentes & Javi Lopez’ ‘To Perfection’, through to more direct house workouts from Max Chapman, No Artificial Colours, Bontan and Rich Wakley.

Montel takes things into old school realms with the organ drenched ‘Horizons’, SEFF and Kashii bring a bassy edge to things with skippy and pitched vocal chops, while Demarzo and Fabricio Pecanha tip the focus into darker realms with a more progressive, electronic focus. All in all MadTech once again deliver fourteen essentials tracks for the current climate of modern electronic music.

Ivan Latyshev (@ivanlatyshev) is a record producer and DJ with more than 10-years experience, having grown up in Russia’s cultural epicentre of St Petersburg. Developing a love for deep house, the young producer has been releasing his perfectly- realised club tunes on labels such as Toolroom, and now provides us with a second outing on Dessous Recordings. The Art of Flying EP presents two original tracks and a pair of remixes of the lead cut. 

The original 'Art of Flying' is quite a statement - a jazzy, swingy beat introduces the track, before solidifying around punchy 4 / 4 groove. Restless synths drift in and out resulting in a track that is both exceptionally funky and deeply wonkytopped off with a killer spoken word vocal.

The ever-dependable Eddie Fowlkes steps up on remix duties and supplies a more jacking interpretation, adding a filthy bassline on his Fly Mix.

The same track also gets a 'Crazy Dub' rework which expands the space within the track and strips it down for maximum club effect.

For our June’s music chapter, we are very pleased to welcome the duo formed by Ricardo Espino & Chedey Garcia. The couple bring us the Canarian’s vibes throught two tech-house’s tunes. “Master Day”, the main one, is the perfect combination between tech elements, . well known acapella, fat bassline and some dark elements which give to the track, a really sexy touch.

The second cut, “What The Fuck”, will make you dance till the last moment. Once again, the guys have managed to find the perfect balance, creating a killer groove. We recommend pay attention to the main break. Sick one!!

Its a pleasure for us to present Andre Salmon as remixer. After released on labels like Repopulate Mars & Hottrax, Andre offers us really outstanding remix. Space elements, tech’s vibes, groovy bassline and a perfect use of the original vocal to créate a bomb track. Really dont miss it.
