"Prisma" is a sonic journey that explores the interplay of light and darkness, breaking down the many shades of drum and bass into a vibrant palette of transformative sound. This DJ and Producer from Minnesota has been mixing for 2 and a half years and he has his college roommate Andrew to thank for getting him started on that journey. He also says that his favorite part of DJing is seeing his friends lose it if he does something cool because they all react almost the same exact way he does. Since starting in VR though he's played at any venue that has asked him to and his favorite genre to play is out is drum and bass. He also mentioned to me that the first ever drum and bass track he heard was Sientelo by Mefjus, Camo, and Krooked. For today's mix, he wanted to showcase some solid mixing with his favorite tunes like Shift by Noisia and Imanu. 

Outside of DJing he loves building legos! And his favorite non edm song is Crunch Time by Chris Travis.

Nothing is known about Blaire's early life, but it can be assumed that at some point he started working for the Murkoff Corporation - a company originally founded by computing pioneer Alan Turing and former Nazi scientist Dr. Wernicke, with a long track of crimes around the world. Blaire eventually rose through the ranks and became a high-ranking Murkoff executive. In 2009, Murkoff purchased and reopened Mount Massive Asylum, a former Colorado asylum, which remained closed for over 30 years until it was bought and the sole purpose for this purchase was so that Murkoff could start at the asylum the Morphogenic Engine program - nanotechnology experiments and dream therapies on asylum patients with the reason for these experiments being profit.

Intending to keep the experiments a secret, Murkoff hired paramilitary forces to guard the asylum and also appointed Blaire to become head of the asylum and report back to them results from the experiments. Blaire was especially dedicated to keeping what's happening inside the asylum a secret and going as far as institutionalizing, torturing, killing or enrolling at the Morphogenic Engine program anyone who tries to expose Murkoff and their plans to the public due to the fact that Blaire and many people who work for Murkoff could be given life sentences or the death penalty for crimes against humanity if exposed, as well as the possible large profit from these experiments.

WHISTLEBLOWER

These two tracks were made during the early years of the VID, with my two buddies Vanguard and EDD.  Vanguard worked with me on both, while EDD collabed with us on Extra Sauce only.  Regardless, we had an amazing time working together on these projects. 

These songs have remained unreleased for years, but I have played them live at many of my shows.  By no means, are these tracks perfect at all.  We all know that.  But what I wanted to be able to do, was show where I came from, and the people I learned early production from, and the ideas I was able to help create with others.  That way, when I release my new originals I have been working on alone, everyone will be able to follow my musical journey and the growth and change that comes with that.  I really hope you enjoy this look into my past and see how it is going to influence my future in music.  Much love and thank you for all your support :)
